Waiting

Waiting

I discovered early in my photographic career that I was not cut out to be a wildlife photographer. I didn’t have the patience that is so often necessary to get the perfect wildlife shot, yet while shooting in San Francisco recently, it occurred to me that maybe I was ready to try my hand at wildlife photography again, as I found myself on one of San Francisco’s cable car streets showing tremendous patience as I waited for ‘everything’ to come together when finally, 40-minutes later, it did. Another Sunny 16 opportunity too so, with my Nikon D500, and my Nikkor 200-500mm on a monopod, my exposure was F/22 @1/320, 640ISO, Daylight/Sunny WB
