One earth, one big giant family, these are challenging times, many of us in the ‘waiting place’, but ever the optimist, I am reposting this image from several years ago to serve as a reminder that the difficult struggles so many of us are facing will one day pass! We got this!
Photo tip: If we were asked during these difficult times, what is our favorite color, all of us, perhaps, would shout emphatically, “rainbow” and if you wish to record the most intense color possible, then reach for your polarizing filter!
Yep! Even though a rainbow IS a front-lit scene, and the polarizing filter is normally reserved for side-lit scenes, USE it also when shooting rainbows and as you turn the outer ring of the filter, you will see the colors of the rainbow intensify. Shot in Iceland several years ago, I was never more elated to be in the right place at the right time, following a mere several days of truly violent and very dark weather!
