High in the Sky

High in the Sky

Filtered dappled light, often created by surrounding trees, often appearing when “the sun is too high in the sky” and of course when the sun is too high in the sky, the inference is ‘lousy, bad light’. Obviously, I disagree. This little girl and the wall behind her are bathed in “too high in the sky” light, but again, its filtered by the trees, toned way down, much like a soft box toning down the harsh light of electronic flash.  Shooting between 10-2pm? Unthinkable! ?You might want to re-think that. You keep shooting. Nikon D850, Nikkor 24-120mm @72mm F/11@1/160 320 ISO
