Description: This multiple exposure photo is actually of my niece Selena. It is a single six second exposure using an AD200 in a beauty dish fired three times, each one a second and a half apart. I used a ND filter to knock out the ambient light because we shot in the afternoon. I set my camera on a two second delay and handheld the flash: camera left on the first image, over her head in front one the second image, and to camera right in the last image. Selena had to change expression for each shot: joy, sorrow, and hate. The last image hate was the one that sold me on this picture. Although each emotion was genuine, it was the "hate" image that spoke volumes. She had to change her position with each flash so she didn't appear duplicated over herself. I especially liked that the "hate" image appears to be a bit lower and slightly in back of the others. Special thanks to Selena who did an absolutely incredible job in every respect! Side Note: I chose "Three Faces of Eve" after the 1957 movie of the same name.
