Webinar Photo Submission – April 25, 2023 TOPIC: “Bloom Where You are Planted”

Description: I made this photograph at the Merchant Marine Memorial in Washington DC on April 11, 2023 in the late morning. I wanted to convey the abundance of blooming tulips (life) surrounding the memorial (sacrifice) on a sunny spring day (hope). I used a Canon EOS R5 with an RF14-35mm F4 L IS lens and my focal length of 15mm. I wanted a wide angle in order to show all of the tulips. My ISO was 125, shutter at 1/250 sec, f8.
