An early Saturday morning, my students and myself cane upon a long narrow ‘fountain’, made of black marble, upon which a reflection from a nearby, front-lit building, a bit of blue sky, and it was then I remarked to one if the students, “We need some pigeons!”, but a quick scan of the area showed no sign of any pigeons.
Time to go ‘fishing’ so a quick trip to a nearby delhi found me buying bagel, a bagel that was quickly ‘crumbled’ and bit by bit, thrown into the extremely shallow water of the fountain. Five, minutes, perhaps ten, no pigeons, but a lone blackbird showed up-done! Further proof that its not about your photography gear, but it’s all about bagels!
