Description: This vast natural ice cave was found in 2013, just 2 years before this photograph was taken. It is underneath the Breidmerkur Glacier in Iceland. When entering the cave you were struck by the vast, smooth, glasslike walls that were turquoise blue. This photograph is taken looking out towards the entrance of the cave with our ice cave guide standing just outside to give a sense of scale. The execution of this photograph was fairly difficult due to the extreme contrast within the scene. This being the case, I took several images and chose the most appropriate to carefully blended together, creating a balanced scene depicting the scene that my eyes could see.
