Description: Two cormorants perched on a branch in a pond. The birds were very still and I wanted to capture the detail in their feathers. I shot this handheld with 100-400mm lens, which is heavy, so I used a higher ISO to get a faster shutter speed. I don't like that the branch extends above the bird's head on the right; I tried to remove that in Photoshop but was not successful. I do like that the cormorants seem to be unaware of each other.
