Description: Shot at Ellis Island in what is called the "blue room." I wanted to show the beautiful blue wall and the loneliness of the abandoned facility. The history of this place is fascinating. I found shooting here difficult due to the lighting. Here the lighting offers high contrast so I bracketed. Most rooms I photographed were dark and very dirty but very interesting.
