Description: The iconic lighthouse at the tiny seaside village of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, near the city of Halifax. A piper was just finishing his wailing when I came upon him and made this image. There was just a moment to take this "grab shot" and thus no time for me to move to my right to position him more to the left in the frame, as I would have liked, to make the shot more interesting. Also, there were at least 40 people climbing on the rocks and outlined against the sky who had to be cloned out to clean up this image. The sky was a blah gray and so, in post, I applied a blue gradient to the sky.
