Description: i was staying on a tea plantation in Sri Lanka and late in the afternoon I headed out to take pictures of the workers making their way home. Groups of women walked past and I took some fairly ordinary photos. Around the corner came a straggler carrying a large bamboo log on her head. Using sign language I managed to stop her progress for a few seconds. She was so pleased to help that she gave me this beautiful smile.
