Taungthaman Lake, just a few minutes from downtown Mandalay, Myanmar, you arrive at 4:30am, a few dogs are barking, a distant splash on the water is heard, you turn your head to the right, and you see the first of several lone fishermen in their wooden boats, a single oar in the water, propelling their slow moving boats towards the middle of the lake. The sun will be up in a few minutes, timing is critical, hah, what else is new? Timing goes hand in hand with right place right time, here comes the sun, “oh yeah!” and here comes another lone fisherman. It’s a good start to the morning!
